So I've been thinking and practicing a lot lately about how far modern music has come. And I've come to the conclusion that it is next to impossible to make any sort of ground breaking, ear orgasming music, without using digital technology because everything that could have ever been done on popular instruments has been done. I have a really long way to go before I'm able to find my sound, and my skill level is where I need it to be in order to stand out and succeed, both in this industry, and in my mind. I've also realized that people don't know what they want in music before they hear it, with the exception of musicians who have some sort of idea as to what makes a god song. In order to make music for musicians, you then must make something that goes beyond what they expect to make a good song and makes the music even better using techniques that they didn't expect. Unfortunately, everything I've ever done has already been expected so I'm gonna do my best at pushing it even further using every tool in my arsenal.
