For one to give to the needy. he is attracting God's attention. God will from time to time to time shower blessings on the people that give to the needy. Whoever wants to enjoy fabulous blessings the month brings should open his hands to give to the people around him the much he can offer

Covenant: Genesis 17: 1-2, 4

Covenant is an agreement that brings two unequal parties together for mutual benefits. The higher party guarantees blessings and protection while the weaker party renders services. This is the condition of the covenant between God and Abraham. While God offers protection and blessing, Abraham pledged to swerve God at all times. Entering into divine covenant an example of the one entered into by God and Abraham brings huge blessings to the weaker party. God promised Abraham of exceedingly blessings of multiplication and fruitfulness.

I must admit that it takes a strong will and tough skin for someone who is passing through terrible challenges of life in health, marriage, profession, academic, child-bearing, career, ministry, etc to remain firm in the Lord. I do not subscribe to the idea that a child of God should resort to sin because things have gone bad. Remember each time a child of God commits sin, the glory of God is shortened in him or her and God's name is adversely affected. When you find yourself in such a situation, look back and reflect on the goodness of God.
