The Los Angeles alternative rock band MERCURY SHOT are looking for a committed musician to fill their Bass player position. Our previous bass player was spontaneous, creative and he knew how to improvise. If you can do the same or better, well come on down and show them what you got.
We also need a musician that can be a team player on promoting, getting gigs, social media, building a connection with fans and any other aspects of the bands growth. We are also open to song writing and any ideas relating to music creation.
So if you groove with us and have the same mind set as we do, well then you have the job. We are very serious about making music, an artistic style, a legacy and of course some money. We love having fun doing all these things as long as we connect on the same page.
Our influences come from a lot of bands and musicians throughout the last 60 years. We have been told by fans that our musical style is similar yet original as;
Black Sabbath,
Led Zeppelin,
Pink Floyd,
The Smashing Pumpkins,
Nirvana,
Jane's addition,
A Perfect Circle,
Soundgarden and many others.
