Jassniro reviews

www.mi2n.com The artist of R&B, downtempo and chill-out music known as Jassniro has released his latest single, “I Made It for You (I Love You).” The single has been concurrently released with an official music video [link provided below]. “I Made It for You (I Love You)” has been proudly published outside the control of the corporate music industry on the Catapult independent music label. Mellow, classy, stylish and full of groove, “I Made It for You (I Love You)” by Jassniro is a track fans of strong beats and gliding melodies will appreciate.

Additionally, “I Made It for You...” features a stunning performance by singer Chelle.

Italian composer Jassniro cites as main artistic influences groups known for originality and intuitive playing, such as Shakatak, Shalamar, Gap Band, Midnight Stars, One Way, Cameo, the Chic, Otis Redding, the Vandellas, Sam & Dave, the Jackson Five, and Kool & the Gang. He also mentions in particular, “good, chill out lounge, like the 'Cafe Del Mar' collection, alongside some nice Afro-beat by Fela Anikulapo Kuti and various African musicians both traditional and modern.”

Speaking of the themes of his new single, Jassniro writes, “The basic inspiration of the song stems from the lack of communication that is quite common nowadays in relationships and in the passions of love. The song is about that particular push and motivation that all true lovers find in order to step forward and overcome moments of crisis by inverting all the phases of negativity in love and changing them into a more positive attitude toward the partner.”

This is inherent in the lyric, “Anytime I tried to understand things, I made it for you,” which Jassniro says summarizes the song's inspiration.

“It demonstrates the positive qualities that unfold each time we try to keep the relationship alive,” the artist writes, “by maintaining the thin thread of connection, like on a razor’s edge, practicing virtues such as tolerance, understanding, sensitivity, and generosity to others.”

Jassniro began his music career in 1990 playing keyboard for the popular Afro-ethnic band, Kilimandjaro. He was lauded for his work with the Afro-Cuban band Shalana, and later was among the finalists in the Los Angeles Indie Music Channel's competition with “It's time for love,” and again in 2013 with “I'm Feeling Strange.” Jassniro is the winner of the Akademia Music Awards for June 2015 and March 2016 with his “I Love You” single and “Summer Is Over” spoken-word track.

He has performed in Rome, Perugia, Siena, Iesi, Cagliari, Pescara, Ancona, Melfi, and Cosenza, among other locales. He currently lives in Rome.

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life,” writes Jassniro. “Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company – a church – a home. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our attitudes.”

“I Made It for You (I Love You)” by Jassniro is available online worldwide.

THE LIFE I'M LIVING

“The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.”

"L'unico modo in cui possiamo vivere, è crescere. L'unico modo in cui possiamo crescere è se cambiamo. L'unico modo che ci permetta di cambiare è imparare. L'unico modo in cui possiamo imparare è esporci. E l'unico modo in cui possiamo esporci è buttarci fuori allo scoperto. Fallo. Sfida te stesso: "Buttati!"....

AS I WALK AWAY

JASSNIRO NEW SINGLE SOON ON ALL MAJOR MUSIC RETAILERS ON LINE ,DISTRIBUTED BY CATAPULT .

“Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.” …

DO YOU LIKE THAT?

“Our entire society is based on discontent. People wanting more and more and more. Being constantly dissatisfied with their homes, their bodies, their décor, their clothes, everything – taking it for granted that that’s the whole point of life. Never to be satisfied. If you are perfectly happy with what you got, especially if what you got isn’t even all the spectacular then you’re dangerous. You’re breaking all the rules. You’re undermining the sacred economy. You’re challenging every assumption that society is built on.”

THE RULES OF MUSIC

The rules in music Reflecting for an instance on the meaning of music and the time that we dedicate to it , I think that in this field, in our creative sphere, we never seem to be completely free to express what we have inside, and we are often entrenched in the rules of music market that I think in the long choke artists, especially independent musicians. Let's say that all the major record labels (especially in Italy) have now 100% of the market, occupy important spaces, television channels, radio, Internet, always promoting the same artists , and also the Pro (Performance rights Organizations in Italy, such as SIAE and abroad, Ascap, Bmi) move the incomes, revenues and royalties of the authors linked to the major, giants records. And what about the classical canons of musical creation, when one thinks that music must be linked inevitably to the classic band, trying first and rehearsing in the basement and then going out in the streets to promote the songs tested in the garage under the house. This is a way of making music, but not exclusively the only one, as there are also poly-instrumentalists musicians, individual composers, arrangers, who with their ideas, despite not having a group, carry forward their own compositional ideas ( I think for an instance to Ennio Morricone, that I guess he has never had a band ....). In short, let's free ourselves from the rules of music ' and let's expand our creative sphere.

JASSNIRO FEATURE STORY

FEATURE STORY , JASSNIRO:

1. The craziest thing that has happened in your music career? Something strange happened some time ago when I composed the song "And you are far from me." I was looking for a vocalist who could best interpret this song. At that time I was in contact with a young student in Cairo, with a passion for soul music, ambient, lounge, and dance. I sent her the basic instrumental partition and she started working on the song. She asked what type of intonation was needed for the song, and told me that she had some technical problems with the choice of a microphone, because she did not know how to cope to purchase what she wanted in the maze of the great Egyptian metropolis. In short, everything was ready, the setting was pretty good , her persuasive voice, with some verses sung in Arabic, gave the song a touch of sensuality . Now it was necessary to complete the whole thing by choosing a picture for the cover of the single. Sifting through photos of my Egyptian vocalist , I chose a set of photos taken at the University of Cairo in a garden across several date palms. I actually thought her image was spontaneous and natural. One morning, I received a message from her, quite upset, saying that she was dropping the project because I had not previously consulted her on the choice of the picture. She resented that her fellow students had been unadvertently in with her musical world and she did not want to mix the two things up even a bit. What a pity! Everything actually went wrong from then on, I could not send the song performed by such a persuasive, sensual Egyptian female vocalist on distribution. This is so emblematic of the fact that often in music we face insurmountable difficulties created by prejudices, barriers, and cultural distances that hinder our sphere and creativity . 2 . Your song ‘I love you ‘is receiving a positive listener response on radio. What was your initial reaction when you first heard your song playing on radio? Really! I did not have the chance to listen to the song on the radio although I have already seen it on the playlists of the radio stations where is going on air ..

3.What was the inspiration behind your debut radio single? The basic inspiration of the song "I love you" stems from the lack of communication quite common nowadays in relationships and in the passions of love. The song is about that particular push and motivation that all true lovers find in order to step forward and overcome moments of crisis by inverting all the phases of negativity in love and changing it into more positive attitudes towards the partner. “Anytime I tried to understand things, I made it for you…” This phrase summarizes in brief the inspiration for the song, therefore the positive qualities that unfold each time to keep the relationship alive by maintaining the thin thread of connection, like on a razor’s edge, practicing virtues such as tolerance, understanding, sensitivity and generosity to others ..

4.Is it often said that great art arises from difficult experience. Is there something in your life experience thus far that you would describe as the ‘catalyst’ or ‘fuel’ for your desire to create music? Yeah, I agree with that statement (great art arises from difficult times..) A long time ago I organized a trip with my former classmate in Switzerland, in the area of Canton Ticino, and was joined by my former partner. Something during this trip did not work, there were too many tensions in this trio, who knows! Misunderstandings with my ex girlfriend that were unclear before, in due time, emerged in this trip as a loose cannon. In short, problems of communication, and also the interaction between my friend and my former partner did not turn into proper empathy to make the trip enjoyable, so many quarrels sprang up suddenly out of control in the group.. Then time came to reach the Italian-Swiss border, and at Como, the relationship with my ex-girlfriend broke off.. (continue. .)

"I LOVE YOU "By Jassniro crowd reviews

This song ABSOLUTELY BLEW MY MIND listening to it, it is so unique in so many different ways because its cool and quite. It has perfect melody, rhythm and even great tune! Definitely a great upbeat and slow song. this song is also smooth and long that it catches my ears.

I like the randomness of the talking also because its unique to this song. The mic quality is amazing, one of the best one ive heard. Really unique song, keep up the good work! The singer's pitch control is great, the tune is on point. The rhythm of the song is really cool also, matches with the words nicely. This record starts with a female spoken word performance that's somewhat artistic. I like the "I love you" part. Then she starts singing in a soulful tone. It's a record that moves along with the beats in slow motion. It's low energy music but it has a nice relaxing groove. I think this record is unique and fairly well produced.

The song starts out with a catchy drum line and the hypnotizing voice of a lady. The song has groovy jazz like instruments along with beautiful singing. The production and quality of the song are perfect. The song is anything people would listen to in a big group of possible, but a lot of people would like and appreciate this song in my opinion. The singer's voice is beautiful and I enjoyed this song very much.

JASSNIRO MUSIC

Jassniro project is the materialization of a passion for music that expresses itself in its various forms and styles, and the strain of a continuous work, sound research and a personal challenge that tends to leave aside the traditional concept of "band " and play and arrange music as a multi-instrumentalist,( to be taken more as a personal challenge, not because my music does not have to make a marriage with other musicians, however, when music is more than a passion, we would like to eventually share it only with a few people ..).I'm actually ranging from a home recording environment to other recording studios around the world .. Just leaving apart the context of the classical band I believe that is still possible, with our modern audio technology, to compose, arrange, record, and let different tools matching together freely and detached from a preconceived role or other traditional forms, tending to develope a theme ,building up the groove and getting the right feeling just starting from few, simple notes and chords.. In the constitution of my playlist ,of my music you can find more than just songs, but maybe fragments of life, my secret pearls, little moments, expressed in music, and I can relive those little fragments of my life, my stories, my memories, if not swept away by time, but there carved in music.....
