Yesterday marked 1 year of IceChrystalls and in between eating cake we managed to finish recording Beat and Shadows and put down the vocals to something a little bit different collaborating with another Reverbnation artist. All will be revealed very soon :)

Just working on final mixes of Silence and Wonderland. Should have these uploaded very soon. We have lots of partially recorded songs to put vocals on including Stronger, Beat, City Lights, One Day and Shadows. More info soon :)

We've recently recruited Callum Gutteridge on guitar. He's an old friend and has performed live before with Laura in Chainless Events. Since Callum's arrival, we've written new songs City Lights and One Day. We hope to have some live rehearsal clips on Youtube soon

Rehearsals going well for new songs. Finished vocal arrangements for Beat yesterday and recorded an "unplugged version" just for fun. Also filmed a few covers, including Gotye's "Somebody that I used to Know" and Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound" with Emily playing guitar for the first time with IceChrystalls. We've written several new songs recently and started to record the guitar, bass and drum tracks. So far Stronger, Beat, Wonderland and Darkness are ready for vocals to be added. Should get some songs available for download during June

More videos recorded on 2nd Feb 2012 including 2 Evanescence songs (My Immortal and Everybody's Fool), a clssic from the late 60s (Nights in White Satin) and Ed Sheeran's current single (Lego House) The girls also reworked Promise This and Untouched. Videos from previous sessions are starting to get uploaded. Coldplay's "Yellow" & The Seether/Amy Lee classic "Broken" are the latest to get the IceChrystalls treatment :D

The Sleeping Beauty Panto is on Sat 21st Jan 2.30pm & 7pm and also on Sunday 22nd Jan 2.30pm. Emily is Sleeping Beauty and Deanna's the Prince. Derrick, Laura, Ashley, Jonny and Kate Kavanagh (flute & sax) provide the music. There'll be loads of other songs from Youth of Light's talented cast
