Okay so i'm getting closer to finishing the "Project Lone Wolf" album. There's going to be 12 tracks to the album. As you know White Lie & Cold Shoulder are part of the album as they are already recorded/posted. Though since i've gotten back into the swing of things. I got 5 new songs in the recording phase. So far the album is
1. White Lie
2. Cold Shoulder
3. Toxic
4. Yesterday's Rights
5. Burning Revenge
6. Enemy
7.Opposite Spawn
8. thru 12. are yet to be chosen so that means yes only 5 songs away from completing the album.
Although i think after these next 5 are recorded i'm going to only post 1 of the 5 in addition to White Lie & Cold Shoulder every week. So in other words each week one of the new 5 will be posted along with the other 2 so once say Opposite Spawn is up ,and the following week Spawn goes down ,and Toxic will go up its place.
I will do this until the album is finished. So stay tuned as new stuff is finally happening again.

Okay folks i know my page has gone silent for over a month now. Here's why. I ended up playing with Brian & Rich in No Signal for a couple of weeks. In which i had intended to bring over my Karma Force songs into that band. Sadly wasn't feeling it after a few sessions. The drummer wasn't what i hoped for (he's a good kid just needs a lot of work) ,and some drama was brewing up from the bassist's wife. So after considering those factors i decided to abandon ship before i dug a hole that was too deep.
So with that put aside now Karma Force is moving forward as planned. So stay tuned

Little bit of an update on things. I had put my recordings on hold for a bit as i was talking to an old bandmate about joining forces in his band No Signal as they needed a guitarist with the understanding that i could use & sing Karma Force songs in the band.
Although to my dismay nothing has fleshed out from this yet, and i'm becoming less & less hopeful about it. I wanna keep things moving i don't wanna have to wait around for people to get their act together.
So unless something changes with No Signal i'm going to continue as originally planned.
Another iffy thing is i got an email today from AR Select record label expressing their interest in Cold Shoulder. I'm a little skeptical of the whole thing so i'm not getting too excited about it yet. We'll see what happens though.

Okay so i posted a new version of Cold Shoulder with once again revamped vocal track. I think this is the last time that i'm going to revamp the vocal track for that song. i'm ready to move on to the next track which is going to be Opposite Spawn. That song might possibly be up by Thursday..depends on how the recording process goes.

Hello everyone...I took a bit of a break from recording for a little bit as i was getting really critical on stuff & was burning myself out. So I'm to do one more revamp of Cold Shoulder's vocal track ,and then it's on to a few new tracks. I think the new tracks are going to be Opposite Spawn ,and Enemy as those are the ones that have the drum tracks basically done. I haven't decided yet if Project Lone Wolf is going to be only songs that i've played in different versions of my band(s) ,or if it will include some stuff i wrote over the course of the past year ,or 2 like Mr. Righteous, Snake in the Grass, and Tick(Inside Your Head). I might save those for an album that features nothing ,but recently written songs. We'll see

I'm sure my fans are probally going nuts because i keep changing versions of Cold Shoulder. I know i don't have the best recording equipment ,and i have to work with what i have. These elements i can't change ,but when it comes to a guitar line, bass line, drum programming ,or vocals these are things i can change at this point in time.
As with the case with Cold Shoulder, Ever since i released the original version of the song i haven't been happy with the vocals i recorded for it. So today i was taking vocal tips from my wife who use to sing in choirs ,and i did several different takes of Cold Shoulders vocal track.
Everytime i thought i hit a version i liked i would walk away then listen to it again ,and turn out to hate it. So after 5 attempts i think i found the version i like which is what is currently up on my page now.
So listen to it ,and tell me what you think.

Okay this is cool that Reverb Nation has a blog in it. Well right now i'm working on my Project Lone Wolf album. I haven't made up my mind yet if i'm doing a full version with 12 songs or more as opposed to a 6 song EP version. So far i got White Lie & Cold Shoulder recorded for the album.
I'm doing the recordings myself from home with a modest recording setup so don't expect a big lavish recording sound ,but it gets my music out there.
Eventually i want to find some live musicians and take Karma Force on stage maybe by summer of this year (2012). We'll see
