What's really important...In my opinion, ofcourse:)
Lately I've been doing some thinking about the important things in life. Ofcourse, everyone has a different idea of what's important to them. When I was growing up I always stressed over the tiniest of things- how I looked (which was extremely unattractive..haha..), the clothes I wore, the car I drove, what people thought about me, and a whole lot of things relating to material "stuff". Not that there is anything wrong with worrying about those things to an extent. However, now that I am so called "grown up", my perspective on life has changed a bit. I really think that life is about being grateful for what you have. I consider myself blessed for every day that I can say that I am healthy, my family is healthy, I have friends who really care about me, I am able to do what I love, and I have everything that I really need. Everything else just seems so unimportant compared to those things. Now I really dont want to sound "preachy", but I think that the world would be a much easier place to live in if we could all take a step back, look at what we have, and say to ourselves..."Life is really good and all the trivial stuff just really doesn't matter".
