The new Amazon MP3 release is coming along ... in fact there will be a few in the coming weeks to months. The "Story Til Now" album as well as a new "Greatest Hits" album will soon be available for sale via Amazon MP3 ... Songstall as well ... a freverb Store is soon to follow ... keep an eye open for merch and other new surprises ... this is a very exciting time for Psydcar / iwillplytiltheskyisblk!!!!!!

A friend of mine actually asked me if i had two bands going or what the deal was ... hence the reason for this blog ... (also serves as a nice introduction to the crazy world i got up in this grey matter of mine) ...
Psydcar is pretty much just me and the acoustic (R.I.P Melissa ... you will be missed ...) anywho ... for a better understanding of that go here: redeyepilotproductions.webs.com (sorry, you'll have to copy and paste).
iwillplaytiltheskyisblack is a two-fold operation ... first and foremost it's where i use more instrumentation (or plug-ins at least) and give it more of a "band" sound ... like drums and stuff (lol) ... also it is my homage to post-hardcore and an extension of the initial principle of Psydcar ... to never stop ... no matter what.
The name itself comes from one of my fave songs from one of my fave bands and a big influence in my musical growth (if you can guess you get a cookie!!)
Alexisonfire's "It was fear of myself that made me odd" was a song that made me realize that i could do post-hardcore sans-band and that yes, i am emo ... and damn proud of it ... i don't beat people or foster hatred from my depression ... i make the most beautiful tragedies with it ... that hurt no one and at times actually bring smiles to the faces of friends and strangers alike ... that is my core mission statement, the very reason for the phenomena we call "american music" and i am honored that i can contribute to it ... that is why i survive it and keep it close to my heart ... girl jeans and all. Post hardcore was the music that got me thru (and still gets me thru) the roughest of tough times and is the soundtrack to my smile when i have one ... the longest love affair i've known ...
I would love to answer some questions rather than sit here and just ramble so please don't be shy ... ask away ... til then ...
