I bet some of you who know me are wondering why I am still playing rock n' roll in my 40's (ahem)! Because I AM, that's why! I have never really made a lot of money doing this. It has been hard on my mind and body. I have suffered a lot for this music, and I have lost and gained many friends along the way.
My biggest thrill is all of the colorful people that I have met on my journey. The world of rock n' roll has certainly forced me to accept all kinds of people, from all different backgrounds, religions, sexual orientations, and different moral views than mine. It has opened my eyes to a world I never knew in North Dakota, and once you experience the world in a different way...there is never really anyway to go back to the way things were...ever again.
I do not regret anything that I have every done. It's all good. Every experience has been necessary to shape the person that I have become, and what I am is a loving father, a good husband, and a weekend rocker!!
I love my wife and thank her dearly for "making" me continue with this art form. It has forced me to face many demons, stare them down in the face and deal with them head on. Rock n' roll was my enemy and it is now my friend, and it is one of the very reasons that I still alive today.
For as corny as it all sounds, and it does.....LONG LIVE ROCK N' ROLL and hopefully....long live me.
I'M NOT DEAD YET!!!
