I hope everyone is doing great out there! I've been workin hard on music lately here in the "Ville." I've been doing some co-writing and I'm getting closer to having a full group put together. I have been writing and working with a guitarist named Chuck Stearns and a bassist named Jake Uphoff. Both of which are very creative musicians and excellent people. I have been in a very creative mood lately myself, and every time I sit at my piano something new seems to appear. I've been writing new material like crazy the past few weeks. I hope to have some finished demos to post for your listening pleasure very soon. I've been working with my manager to book some shows in the summer/fall, so stay tuned for those. I also want to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to give me some feedback on what to record in the near future. I have been posting my demos on reverbnation and putting them up for FREE download. All you have to do is enter your email to join my mailing list. Please check out the songs, chew on em a bit and post your two favorites on my facebook timeline. I would really appreciate the input!!! Thanks again for all the support out there!!! As I close in on 6 months living in Nashville, I figured I would give everyone an update on things. It's been quite a ride so far, I've been held up at gunpoint, had a busted car, 3 different day jobs, and 4 different places to sleep. Thankfully things are lining up nicely now and I've made some good friends, got a good job and a nice apartment. The city is great. The musical culture is exactly what I had hoped for. I've started recording some new songs with my friend Jake Uphoff. He is a talented Writer, Bassist, Guitarist, and Singer. We're working on adding a few more members and getting out for some shows around Nashville in March/April. I will also be performing Feb. 8th with "Two Step Eddy" at the Boathouse Winery in Bloomfield, MO and then in Cape Girardeau, MO at the Cape Country Club on Feb. 9th. Looking forward to coming home and seeing everyone! Stay tuned for more music!

Hey everyone! I couldn't resist the Niel Diamond reference :) I have had so much going on lately that it's been hard to find the time to blog. I have moved to Nashville, TN and started networking and finding co-writers. I have a solo show on Sept. 11th from 5-7p at The National Underground (a venue owned by Joey and Gavin DeGraw) and have been working hard to prepare for it. I will be playing some new tunes that I have written recently and many that I have been playing for a while. I am also in talks with an indie label and going this weekend to meet with one of the producers they work with in St. Louis, MO. I am working to record and release some new music by this winter. Keep an eye out because I am going to be putting some new videos on my YouTube channel within the next couple weeks as I go to the studio and some live performances from my upcoming shows in Nashville and elsewhere. Hey everybody! This is officially my first blog :)
I have been working diligently on putting together my first "solo" show that is coming up April 27th at Buckner Brewing Co. in Cape Girardeau. I am trying to add new dimensions to the original songs that I have written and maybe even add a new one or two. I am also working on new material to record in a month or so. Thanks to everyone that is has supported me so far, and best of luck!

Settling in to Nashville Life
As I close in on 6 months living in Nashville, I figured I would give everyone an update on things.
