New Song
The new song is up and leaving its mountain. Hope you all get something from it. Meanwhile, it's time for me to carry on working on the next song for 'Birth and Death'. And it's called 'Only You'.
An Ode to the Superman
Ok brothers and stardust sisters! The Mountain Song (An Ode to the Superman) has all it's beautiful flavours fused into an harmonious whole. There 'aint no black holes in this motherfucker. Pure sunshine kicks. You've got birth, and you've got death. And in between is the Mountain Song. And it comes to you from both I and Mr Nietzsche. Our song of the Sun. Of summer. Of life. Coming to a cinema of sounds spheres near you soon x. 'Man is something that must be overcome. I teach you the SUPERMAN.' Thus spraken Zarathustra.
The Mountain Song
It's coming along nicely. That's all I can say. Might be ready for the vocals in about a weeks' time. With the strings and the french horns and the guitars....epic! Loving it. It's one I'm already proud of. Good times.
The Mountain Song (An Ode to the Superman)
Changed my mind. Although Maybe Baby is almost ready, the next song will be The Mountain Song (An Ode to the Superman). The nice weather has brought it out of me. It's my summer song, and it feels right to get it uploaded and out onto the soft, summer breeze. It's stepping up to the sun and coming down from the mountain very soon. Take care, love, peace and Sun everyone x
Next Song
Broken Heart took far, far too long to finish. Written in 20 minutes, recorded in a month and then mixed and mastered in another two months. Constantly learning how to mix though, so it's not all that bad. So anyway, on to the next song - Maybe Baby - which is half recorded, musically. Got a week off work soon to finish the music and then get the vocals done in a night. So with any luck I'll have it uploaded by the end of March (!). This is the opening song on the album Birth and Death, so it's gonna have to be a damn good job. But....so far, so good.
