So many DJ's, So little time...

If u haven't been paying attention anybody with a laptop nowadays is considering themselves a DJ. This is bringing about more creativity but most are really just considered a "live PA". That's what we called them back in the day and that's what they should be called today. Not that one is better than the other. It just shouldn't be confused. Deadmau5 for instance is a producer that performs a "live PA". I happen to be a DJ that listens through my headphones to the track that I'm about to bring in on top of the one that is already playing in the club and blend them seamlessly without anyone being able to notice the change. I don't even use a laptop. I do it audibly using Pioneer CDJ2000's. Enjoy going ur own way but just take notice to what the other guy is really doing. Thanks and take care...

What an insane year this is with DJ's...

OMG! This year is packed full of events like I've never seen before. It seems like here in Atlanta that we finally started hitting record numbers again at shows. That's for attendance only. It just seems that everyone is getting hooked! That's awesome for me and some of the other DJ's out there but I hope we can keep a steady increase year by year instead of falling down again. My intentions are to make it to Europe in September and man do they have some shows or what breaking off over there. Off the chain parties all day/night everyday. Let's keep up the numbers and great attitudes to gather even larger numbers and keep rollin... Enjoy ur summer wherever u are...

Which came first? The chicken or the egg?

Everything electronic in this world came before Dubstep. Dubstep is a speed in-between Breaks and D&B. I love the creativity...

My Birthday last week was insane!

Best DJ set of my life. I literally had 24 hours to put together some of the phatest shit I've ever thrown down. I played House, Breaks, Dubstep and Drum & Bass and in no certain order. I want to thank all who came out and supported me and showed your love. Thanks. I do it mainly for my love of the music but I love touching other people with music more than life itself. I happened to me once a long time ago so I try to continue passing on the ENERGY. Thanks again! I couldn't do t without you!!!

My Birthday Throw Down @ Halo Lounge in ATL

This Monday, May 7th I will be spinning a 6 hour set. No sweat! Love it! Come join all the surprises I have in store for you...

Funny S#!t!!!

Back in the day (as a promoter) my favorite stupid a$$ line from a DJ was "hey man I left my needles at home. Do u have some I can barrow?" Now it's "hey man I left my Mac power cord at home. Do u have one I can barrow?" Funny how shit changes but always stays the same................

Why does everyone want to be a DJ?

It's like being a massage therapist nowadays. Everybody is jumping the bandwagon and just thinkiung that they can become a DJ overnight. This is a very skilled profession. Some can adapt quickly while others can't but still try. Most people are buying equipment and trying to DJ gigs the next week. This is now any real DJ has ever made it. Some break-out producers have been thrust into this "DJ profession" but they are just as bad as an amateur. Keep practicing and ask a Pro first before releasing ur first mix or trying to spin at a club. Ur just making the profession, me and my frienda look bad. Don't do it just to do it plz. See if u can feel it first...
