Just got home from initial tracking sessions for the second song -- "Hey" -- from the second album -- MIXTAPE.
And, as happened with the first song ("Here")... it went BETTER than expected! Dave was masterful on the skins; Noah is amazing behind the board; and the little ProTools drum experiment I've had brewing in my head for the last 5 years or so came off beautifully!
I'm listening to the rough mix now and I'm breathless at what we accomplished in the last 7 hours. The final arrangement/mix is taking shape in my head. It's going to be cool as hell. Hopefully I'll get back to Noah's place within the next week or two and we'll finish this bad boy up!
This record is going to be great.

Second song for second album being recorded
