Hey ya'll- So thrilled about the recent response I've gotten regarding the RVA Electronica Collective (REC) compilation CD. It's good to know that not only are there a ton of really awesome artists in Richmond, but they all seem to want to work together. We live in a new era of music production, call it the Indie movement, call it whatever you want, all I know is it is NOT what it used to be. Keep in mind- all of the competition that we're used to wasn't generated by us! It is a leftover biproduct, still fresh in our psyche, of the not-so-ancient days of corporate record labels, and I don't know about you but I want no part in it. This collective is my first step outside that competition, to see what we can come up with together. Hit me up if you have any tracks to use!
