Hey Blues Brothers!!

There seems to be a disturbing new pattern where artists find a need to change their genres in order to get better chart positions. It behooves me that someone would do this as it is disrespectful of those who strive to maintain a genre and also of themselves because their music has no real place in the genre that they have changed to. All I want to do is Keep Live Blues Alive nothing else and hope that those overseers of reverbnation actually check out theses new blues artists and put them in their rightful genre, whether it be in their roots or some true form of their artistry. Take a good look at the Global Blues Chart listen to the artists and their music YOU be the Judge obviously Reverbnation doesn't want to be involved but artists and fans can. Comment if you want to.

I sometimes think about changing my genre because, although I do blues mostly in public, I am also a pop, R&B and folk singer. Wish I could have them all! LOL! Maybe people also change their style over time and maybe they made a mistake in the first place.

I don't bother with placing too much because it doesn't change who I am or how much I enjoy music. Reverbnation and places like YouTube are great for meeting people like me online and that is the most important thing, I think. Love-love, B

It's too bad that there is not a genre for "100% Foot Stompin' Cigar Box Rock n' Roll".

Two year anniversay

This site reverberates throughout the Internet and the World! It is the meeting, networking, and Nexus of the artistic World of today. Many talented people sharing their talents and experience make ReverbNation the Place to be. No one else shares their profit freely with the artist and with this said I must say Thank you ReverbNation may you live long and prosper!

I must say thank you to everyone for your support, this is year two at Reverbnation and we are in position no 1 Globally, Nationally and locally. It doesn't get any better than that, thank you all very much. In two years we have over 5400 fans, 45,000 Plays, 9800 downloads, 25,000 visits and 294 songs.

Feb 2010 Update

New ReverbNation look ....its taking some time to get used to it. While there are some good features I'd like to see the Classic Version button become a permanent feature. I like change but for the better not just for the reason to change. You have to give Reberbnation credit for trying to speed things up though its a tough world to please everyone all the time but eventually good things will transpire.

Since last Update 5266 Fans, 43813 plays, 9530 downloads, 288 songs uploaded, 3240 videos Played, 23,258 visits WOW! Thats alot of Traffic Whew! Thanks to everyone thank you! " Thanks for your support and friendship.

Hi Gerry

I like your suggestion of a choice between new and old. I really haven't been on here a lot since the change to really decide if I like it or not Right now it's looks too much like sonicbids.com to me.

Oh BTW wow! I went up 4 points today Sept 12th 2009 after losing over 4752 points since the 18th of August 2009.

The Inside Track or Buzz Off!

If you check my “about section” you'll see the Stats from Aug 17 to Sept 8th. You'll also notice a green descending indicator. This shows and tracks a Loss of over 4000 BES points. You’ll also see that “plays & fans” have kept up pretty steady. As with all new things this one (green indicator and drop) wasn't explained clearly to me or any other artist that has lost BES points. Many Artists have asked but get the usual blaa blaa woof woof answer and pretty well have given up. Some artists have even said “its because they want those that pay to get a fairer shake” in other words the bigger the fan base where you have to use a costlier version of Fanreach therefore the better are the chances that you don't or won’t lose Points. The typical answer this question is "Don't worry it'll all smooth out in the end" Translates into "Buzz off". So I have buzzed off! It blows me away that in this day and age that we still do not communicate well. Why are we so afraid to explain things properly, to freely exchange information or discuss change. How many times have changes been made but no notice or advice has been given. I love reverbnation for what it stands for and what it does for the whole. You can’t knock something that provides a service for everyone. It’s a difficult enough job and maybe, just maybe things will smooth out.

Last Day 7

Thats it down another 200 BES points to all time low of 6455 even though Fans up yesterday by 18, 76 plays and 429 widgets. So what does all this mean, nada. What it does mean is that if this happened to anyone they would have given up I don't see the purpose, No one else has lost as many point while still maintaining plays widgets fanship and downloads, Speaking of downloads there have been 6070 thats six thousand and seventy! thats alot!! Thanks thats the last for a while when we finally scrape bottoms we'll squeak some more!!!
