so i haven't done a show in a while. i am getting married mid-april and wedding planning has basically consumed my life. slowly packing and getting rid of things is a part of my life right now as well.
i would definitely rather be making music and playing shows right now. like... definitely. all these little details of putting together my own wedding make my head hurt way more than any recording endeavor has.
the problem is, every time i start to play around with music i think of somebody to add to the guest list, or a detail of the ceremony i need to work out, so then i feel guilty and have to drop the music thing once again.
anyway, i say all this to say, hang in there, dear fans! i will return by summer. i have some sounds/concepts/grooves in my head and i can't wait to get them out. i also got new gear and software right before i had to shift gears to wedding planning, and i'm dying to learn how to use that new stuff. it's killing me not to have the freedom i want right now. the time will come, though, the time will come....
