How did it become that being a recording artist would have an iPhone in my name more than a microphone !! I suppose when the labels fell short during the rise of the digital age, we've become little record labels. A new model called Do It Yourself, make the buzz, get all the fans, be profitable and then we will sign you.. but why would anyone want that? At that point you just need a great team around you .. like Chance the Rapper & others without a label. I had a great meeting in Los Angeles during Grammy's weekend - the biggest take away was artists & especially labels do not make money on music itself anymore so you need to monetize social media eyeballs as a brand. At the meeting the executive said many songwriter with hit songs are selling their catalogue in hopes of some royalty exchange aka cash... Welcome to the new world. Remember what you hear on the radio and see on TV are literally 5% of musicians /performers/songwriters out there but we all still work to achieve that 5%.. What should change? You tell me? What's the true new business model.. A lot of Kardashian, with a little bit of art... (ps I like the Kardashians-it's fun non thinking enjoyment away from the grind for me so no judging!) Kanye gets it... Mr. Street Cred understanding where the future is going .. dare we say Instagram Stars instead of rockstars... I don't know. I'll just continue being me ... and all that becomes..

Just played Dewey Beach Chickfest. Great time - great show. Love all the responses I'm getting from all the TV placements. Food Network has a new show about cakes and they're using 'Remember You' = very exciting.
My dreams are all coming true. I've worked very hard and still have more to go. I will continue to work hard and achieve all I set out to achieve. Anyway work hard and never stop believing. Just wanted to tell everyone that and Thank you. 3

Well the voting is almost done. I have to tell you I'm excited and nervous. All this build up and now we'll know in a week who gets the top 3. This competition has definitely changed me. I know it has put my career on a whole new level and I'm so very grateful for that. I want to keep going... all the way to the 60 seconds of commercial time. This is what I've worked so very hard for and wil continue to work for no matter what the results. I do have to say my heart is so attached to the idea of finally performing for the major masses. Giving people all I have in song and dance to make them feel something inside. The same something that brought me here. The passion, the love, the heartache, and the desire to be one with song and people. I'm so very excited for the next part of my life and career. I am absolutely ready.
