home sweet home is a big console and all the guitars lined up on such a pretty blue sky day in Broad Ripple Indiana. I came home from work and was thinking about writing a song like the band Cracker - who we were going to see later that same week. I hit the bong and started out playing some chords, than i used 2 turntables and a microphone and recorded it to tape, the yr was 2003. 1 of my favorite songs to play live.

oh-ya the day was so sunny in 2008 with lots of pretty blue clouds the morning i wrote this little diddy, this tiny speck of a tune - the magnet on the refrigerator said the motto - I made me laugh , I sat down at the control panel and flippe dthe little red switch that said power -" Its alive" i screamed as the network accepted the passwords to the underground computer labyrinth . the amps came into fader #5 and the feedback was ear spiltting - tuned the guitar to dropped d and let one ripp. the lyrics are a simple ode to the working man blues who has to live paycheck to paycheck.

It was a warm shiny happy people kind of homeplace day. The yr 2006, the recording studio was being teared down and moved to the new outside shed area51. I was mastering and mixing song a a fever pitch knowing my time was short. I had a bunch of different songs sitting around and i wanted to finish them - fast and distorted without any reason i smashed all the composition together, " it come in 3's , Beers - Bongs and Thongs " I love that 1 liner thought it was the best way to start out the show - the guitar tracks were tripled on the mix, vocals were doubled - everything was layered - this song has never been performed live!

ahhhhhh it was a warm sunny morning in Broad Ripple Indiana, i was a sound man with lots of money, I was partying with my friend Dave B, he and i talked about cool bands, I told him bout this band from nyc and how long there name was - we both started throwing out strange band names, Dead Hooker in trunk was one of them - I thought it was a great name for a song and went back to the recording studio and layer the tracks using sonic foundry acid pro and fruity loops, the guitar is in dropped d , but the solo is in standard. the vocals were run into a lexicon effects processor that Mike B has. the lyrics came to me in a a few minutes. I love playing this song and i believe i was the first artist to write this song title - nows there thousand of impostertutes.

I had just purchase the harmony flying v and i needed to tell the story of love gone away and the misery that soon follows. It still is one of my favorite song to play live - this was 1 of the first songs I recorded in Indy.

it was a warm sunny day in new jersey, I was feeling the blues and needed some recording time. I packed up the 8trk recorder and headed over to my good friend Tony B's house. It was may 2002, we were on the south side of parsippany. we loaded up on some blank cassette tapes, pulled out the 48th street custom guitar and flipped on the marshall . the boss 808 was on beat and tony had his red yamaha bass pugged into the harke . we played osme quick takes of this and that - when tony came up with a riff , i recorded a killer guitar part but somehow never recorded it correctly and so that was that - tony played bass and drums - I throw out the vocal - running thur the digitek voacliser - the story of Natasha is a simple one, she was a stripper that i meet 1 crazy night and she couldnt speak english well .
