Kodac Bio

Tony Antwon Shaw (born July 23, 1985), better known as his stage name Kodac (often stylized as Kodac Bitch), is an American rapper, producer and clothing designer. He is best known for being a member of a group called the “TEAM” from the west side of Southern Pines and one of the many artist signed to Jay Shawn label North Meet South. Early years Kodac was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina and, moved throughout the town of Southern Pines, where he was raised by his mother. Kodac attended Pine Crest High School in Southern Pines, and graduated in 2003. He decided that he had a better chance if he had joined the Military. Kodac joined the Military in 2005 where he was first station in Camp Carroll, Korea. He continued to make and produce music and linked up with some people from Killa City (Kansas City) whom he worked with that also procure music. Kodac left Korea where he was later stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas and began to sale beats on his spare time. About 18months later Kodac moved to Fort Bragg, North Carolina where he reunited with his old crew the TEAM and W.S.M.G (West Side Money Gang). In early February Kodac released his first Mixtape (Picture That) hosted by DJ Drama aka Gangsta Grill Mr. Holiday etc… on the website www.datpiff.com and also the hood. T-Brick 1/3 member of the group TEAM introduce him to Jay Shawn Founder of NMS Empire, where he later ended up signed with NMS. May 5, 2009 Kodac deployed to Iraq for 12months where he left to fight for our Country and also continued to sell and produce music. After returning home from Iraq, Kodac dropped his second Mixtape (Scrap Book Vol 1) hosted by DJ Drama also on www.datpiff.com. Kodac is now currently station in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii until January 7, 2012 the day he ETS from the Army.
