After months of quiescence (regrettably the natural state of this project), Cairn is again making headway towards the release of 'Raise the Cairn'. Although the audio element of the record has been completed for approximately a year, the band's visual side--its logo, the EP's cover art--was inchoate at best. After working briefly with several artists, Harvester Creative stepped forward as the most sensible (not to mention qualified) option. Jason Muxlow has been nothing but patient in helping realize the project's vision and making 'Raise the Cairn' better than it has any right to look.
Completed cover art and the band's primary logo have been posted. Final elements for the 'Raise the Cairn' booklet art are in the works and, with any luck, will be completed by month's ending.
And then, it's off to be pressed, and this project--nearly three years in the making--will be complete.
