So I don't like blogging, but I am going to. We have a shitload of shows coming up. But you all have eyes, and can read our page, so you get that. Or I hope you do. If not, I will make shadow puppets later to help explain, and send you a link (not really, but I still might make shadow puppets later - they are fun). Anyways, let's talk about our shows for next week.
The 1st show we have is with this SICK band from Houston, TX. They call themselves - The Wrong Ones, but I'm cheezzzzeeee, so I call them The....wait for it.....wait for it.....RIGHT ONES! All I know is, if you thought Charlie Sheen had swagger with his tiger blood & Winning, well, you thought wrong - The Wrong Ones take his swagger, eat it, digest it, and spit it back out in your face with a fire of punk fury! This show will be happening at Slim's, in downtown Raleigh NC - Tuesday, July 12th! Dead to Society & Laser Blades will be playing as well. DTS are our boys, so be prepared for some craziness! Oh, and we are the headliners. What crazy fucker would ever put us last? Muahahaha.

The 2nd show will literally be the next day (Wednesday, July 13th), but we are headed to downtown Durham, NC this time to rock out The Pinhook! We are bringing the Canadians, so you guys bring the Ayyyyyyy. We have two AMAZING acts coming from Canada to melt yo faces. I honestly wish I could describe them as well as The Pinhook did, but I have a feeling I will need to "borrow" what they wrote. We open this show, btw. We will then be followed by The Music Box. As The Pinhook stated: "The Music Box is jangling, shambolic indie pop with a whipsmart howler of a singer. Like Dylan at his least morose, having a really good time." They are so damn right! Headlining this event will be Sam Coffey & The Iron Lungs. As the Pinhook stated: "This is how they keep warm in Canada, with drunken, raw, abandoned garage punk with a delicious sense of classy sleaze from the 60s. Like ? And the Mysterians except with better drugs." Mmmm....better drugs. I mean what? Just know these bands are the fucking shit, and if you miss out, well, you will cry yourself to sleep for months. Oh, this was the Indy Pick for that night! Just saying.

Next - The Rock Shop in Fayetteville NC (Friday, July 15th). We are honored to be involved in a Punkfest of such epic proportions. We get to share the stage with THE INDEPENDENTS - who not only played shows with The Ramones, but worked with my hero, JOEY RAMONE!
(From Wikipedia - From their beginning the band was championed by Joey Ramone of the Ramones. In 1998 Joey served as executive producer on their EP "Unholy Living Dead". That summer they also played dates on the Warped Tour. Joey would manage the band until his death in 2001. The bands 2001 album Back from the Grave, was produced by Joey and Ramones producer Daniel Rey.) Also sharing the stage will be - SCHMEGMA, PLAYING WITH GUNS, MUMU TUTU, BAD IDEA, & RICTUS GRIM. Seriously, these are all amazing bands. We got lucky, or paid somebody off!!
