Jared is repsonsible for writting all the annoying little hooks that get into your head and you can't get out for days on end. He also repsonisble for knowing where every other member of the band is at any given time. He along with Mike and Danny started stopwaitrepeat, as something to do on the weekend.
He has played the keyboard for around 3 years, when he was instructed to teach his brother. His brother became disillusioned with the idea of having to learn to read sheet music, and Jared took it up instead, which was fun. Jared says that he is a unique keyboard player, in that he can't do much but is influenced by both progressive rock from the 70's and the modern day technophobic techno/trance/pop hooks.
He lists his key musical influences as: Genesis, Linkin Park, Muse and anything he hears and downloads tabs for off the interwebs.
He is against eating fish and downloading music from the internet.

- 00001101, is 13 Jared's favourite number written in Base2 Binary. He wrote 00001101 when he was home for Easter. He originally recorded it by plugging his keyboard into the TV, recording onto a DVD then extracting then audio from the disc.
- The hook for Solar Flair was written, when Jared needed something to play whilst he readjusted the volume for his amp, after Mike unplugged it
- Jared constructed the stopwaitrepeat logo, and stole the hand from Wikipedia...
- Jared hates carrying his keyboard, but won't trust anyone else to carry it
