I'm revamping everything. I hope to present a more cohesive and representative platform for my music and performances.

We just about completed 11 songs this weekend for the new recording. I'm not sure that all of them will make the final cut for release, but we had a great time putting the music together and it already feels like two giant steps forward from Ahava Raba. Peter Lewendowski did a fantastic job capturing the performances.
I'm not ready to give away too many secrets yet, but there will be songs Umar and I have been playing live for awhile, songs that I've mainly done solo over the summer, instrumentals, and a few things no one has heard yet.
Stay tuned and be sure to come out to see us perform on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the Acadia Cafe in Minneapolis, MN.

Umar and I continue our fun run of shows at the Acadia Cafe on the second Tuesday of every month. These have been a blast and we're doing all new material.
Why?
To get it in shape for a new recording!
We're set to begin the follow up to "Ahava Raba" in early November and I'm super excited about the new material and continuing to explore new sounds. The project is tentatively entitled "The Prophets (Ha Nevi'im) volume 1 and, as the title indicates, all of the lyrics are drawn from the biblical prophets.
Stay tuned!

If you didn't know yet, every month I post a new song on YouTube. Most of these are newly written but some I've had around for a little while. It's just me and my guitar in my living room in front of the webcam. No, the sound is not the highest of fidelity. It's just my way of opening a window into the creative process and trying out new songs for anyone interested. A few of them were written the same night I recorded them, and thus might later get revised a little. Who knows what each month will bring?

If you want to buy the CD, here are the ways you can do so at this time.
1. Buy it from me in person, anytime, anywhere: $5.
2. Send me a check or funds via paypal and I will personally mail you an autographed copy. $5 per disc plus $3 for shipping. Up to three discs will ship for $3.
I'm really proud of this disc so if you'd rather barter something for it, let me know what you're thinking. I wish I could give it to everyone for free but my daughter needs shoes.

I am finally getting the ball rolling and taking the Mystic Hebrew Folk music thing (more) seriously. You can stream some songs from my forthcoming release of some sort. I'll add more soon, I'll also add links to my YouTube videos and my new song/video a month in a yearlong tribute to Debbie Friedman.
Shalom and let me know what you'd like to see or hear.
