Demo Submission Guidelines

Here's how to submit: 1. Start by making sure the material you have ready for submission is well recorded. If you simply set up a tape player in the middle of the room, chances are we're not going to be able to hear everything you're doing and it's just going to be a mess. Please take the time to prepare your best work, this only wastes your time and ours if you don't. 2. Once you feel you're ready to show us what you have, send your band package to the address below or message us by email (see below) or on Myspace. It's best to have at least one of your best songs already on your Myspace account, but time permitting we'll accept MP3 via email as well. Tell us what you want us to hear, and we'll check it out or request the file. 3. Do not contact us more than once about your initial message. If we like your material, we'll get back to you. Time may restrict us from responding with personal criticism about your material so you can grow as a musician or group. We'll try to make it personal if we can. And unlike other labels, if you feel you can make a better impression after we decline, do it. Rerecord, reconsider, rewrite. If you feel you're ready, contact us again, just make sure it's good, because you won't have another chance. If you receive an answer of 'no', realize that no means no and we will not be considering you further for this particular release. Future release submissions are permissable, however, provided we haven't declined them already. 4. You may contact us, however, if you do not receive any word from us in a period of two weeks. We'll try our best to have your material reviewed in this amount of time, but if you don't hear from us, feel free to remind us or make sure your message didn't get accidentally moved into the trash or spam folder. It could happen, so be professional, wait, and then message us again. This is unlikely to happen, but keep it in mind. If you're sending a band package by mail, the turn around time is normally two weeks once it gets in our hand. Depending on how you sent it, it should get to us within about three weeks maximum for domestic mailing and roughly two to four weeks maximum for international. Feel free to let us know you're sending something our way so we can look for it. 5. If we decide we like your material and we've only heard a song or two through email or Myspace, we'll have you send a demo or band package to one of our associates for review. This is unnecessary if the majority of your music is already on Myspace, but if you have band packages ready we'll be more than happy to look at them. 6. Once we feel you're definitely what we're looking for, we'll request personal contact information to get set up with contract signing and the process for releasing your material. If you reach this step, consider yourself lucky! We don't accept everything we get, only the best! If there are questions you have that aren't addressed here, please feel free to contact us.
