Hello and thanks for reading our first blog entry in a little while – and for that we apologize, but we've had good reason. Ok, so we're already making excuses...that's pretty lame, right? Well it's true. We've had reason AND we've had blog writer's block. So there, now it's out there. We've slacked on blogging. So sue us. Umm, actually, we take that back -- don't sue us. We are really nice guys and believe blog writer's block is a serious affliction (and one that we just made up while writing this particular blog entry).
Anyways – back to where we've been? More like where we HAVEN'T been! In the last 8 weeks we've played Boston, Worcester , Hartford (thank you Super 8, we mean Motel 6, or was it Super 8?) and most recently taken what we like to call a tiny-tour through New York and Pennsylvania . An absolute blast!
Oh and most importantly, we hit the NACA Northeast conference the first weekend in November and met a lot of very cool people – fellow artists, students and staff. What an amazing experience! If you attended, thanks for stopping by and listening to our stuff as well as meeting us in the flesh. We're really much better looking in person, aren't we? And we are so modest. (And sarcastic). As we were saying, it was awesome to meet everyone and we look forward to seeing you out at a show or on your school's campus in 2008!
What's in the works for TREBEK, you might ask? You might not ask. But we're telling you anyways. And you are now forced to continue reading because the suspense is killing you and if you close the blog now you'll only just log back into your Myspace in a little while, cursing yourself that you didn't read further to begin with -- and now wasted all that time logging in and out, not to mention you just missed the last few minutes of Deal or No Deal. Wow, life is filled with ups & downs - isn't it?
Well, you'll be glad you kept reading (or logged out and back in) because…TA DA -- we're planning a late winter/early spring College tour -- if you want us to play at your school, let us know OR if we are already scheduled to play your school, know that we CAN'T WAIT! Plus, we've got plans to head back to venues in both New York , Pennsylvania and watch out New Hampshire, we're coming your way, too! AND while we are home and not busy on the road, we'll be practicing at our brand-spanking-new band headquarters! The new HQ means time is limitless and our ideas will flow and grow effortlessly. Translation -- new TREBEK material coming your way sooner than later!
