Poe Mack "Soul Of A Mack" Album Review

I got out the laptop and turned it on at work last night to download Poe Mack’s new album. Hopefully my boss won’t see this because I was on the clock. When I loaded “Soul Of A Mack” on the flash drive and decided to then clock out for lunch I realized it was well worth the chance I took. Looks like I am going have to change the ringtone on the android from “I Know” from poe’s last album to “Till This World Ends”. Beginning to end it’s a masterpiece. Showing why Poe where’s the crown. Poe is a lyrical beast on the whole album. With tracks ranging from what it’s like on a normal Sunday afternoon to speaking on his past and where he came from. Poe also brings some of the hottest producers and artists from the east coast together on this album. In my opinion “Soul Of A Mack” was properly named. Thank you Poe for showing me your soul. In closing if you don’t download this album then you’re missing out on the brilliance that is Poe Mack. Add this to the list of CypherCiti’s recommended albums of 2011. ED E. RUGER’s “Ziplocked & Loaded” Review

Cypher Citi’s album review of ED E. RUGER’s “Ziplocked & Loaded” I got my copy of “Ziplocked & Loaded” earlier this week and realized it was not a CD for the headphones hooked into my computer. What I mean by this was I had to hear the thump on this one. The basslines in the beats make this CD even that much better. Ruger is taking NC to a whole new level and putting Iconoclast on the map as a predominant factor in NC hiphop. Tracks like ‘Dummy Disease’ (one of my favorite off the CD) basically lashes out at some of the top40 rap out there. My favorite track however is ‘Lucks for Losers’ (one of Ruger’s better tracks overall). My suggestion is to go cop this CD from the link below. You won’t be disappointed and you subwoofers in your car will thank you also. Poe Mack "Move Mountains" Review

The Mighty King of VA is at it again with samples that will make you say wow and beats from some of the best Beat Technicians in their genre. Poe also has many artists featured on his tracks. My personal favorite is "I Know" You can feel what Poe felt when he wrote that rhyme. I personally would have paid for this CD. You can go get it at http://kevinnottingham.com/2011/01/18/poe-mack-move-mountains/ CYPHER CITI GRIND TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cashmere "Take Me Away" Album Review

The Release of "Take Me Away" from Brooklyn's BK Cashmere is a refreshing relief from alot of the modern day rap out there. Cashmere combines lyrical genius with a HipHop style over some damn good beats. The first track 'My Time' is my favorite off the CD. He also still manages to keep it gangsta on several tracks throughout the cd. 'Keep on Pushin' has a Old School type of bounce to it. Cashmere takes you into his life with this cd which is a major accomplishment for any artist. I highly recommend getting this CD. Go to http://cashmeresworld.ning.com/ and check it out.
