SFD has been playing for at least a year now together, since full flight. It would seem like such a short time, but in that short span our experiences were varied to say the least.
We played at various venues from a cramped room to a charity event and even a dinner and dance! But through it all we managed to perform and apparently amaze the crowd.
This might seem like some resignation message, however it is just the opposite. We're coming on more stronger this year with shows, more nonsensical music videos and maybe an EP if we can afford it. and yeah...we're improving our playing too.
Cheers,
Ibrahim
p.s despite what i say...we still sound bad...maybe thats why we're "SUSPECTED FOR DEVOTION"

So the last jamming session is over. Time to get ready for the real thing. I'm ready. But my heart will sure be beating like mad on that day...the anticipation...the crowd...the lights...the drums...the cheers...(the jeers?)...
Time to face the music. Will we be just another or will we be put on the local music map?
I'm hoping for the best. Till then, see ya.

Me and Idham went to check out some of the bands at the full flight gig yesterday at *scape...we went in the night and i managed to catch the last band in action, Blind Meets Mute.
The thing that surprised me was that the crowd was so close to the performers that you can just reach out your hand and you would have touched them...yeah that close. I'm feeling nervous for the rest of S4D's band members since they will be the closest to the crowd, not me. hahah
And yesterday's gig made me realise that we have to clean up our act and play it right...and we have to make an impact to be noticed since the band that i watched played some heavy sounds and the drummer was really good...
I know our music is good and i know it will be accepted...its just that i'm getting the pre-performance jitters...
see you soon

Hey people whats up?
The band has just finished another jamming session and we are in high spirits for the upcoming show at *scape. We are planning to do a mix of originals and covers for the show but we promise that you will have a rockin' good time if you come and watch...
But for now, we practice to make the show tip top for all to bear witness.
I've added a video for "Sweet Goodbye and Sweet So Long" on youtube so do check it out, it's one of our originals. We also played a cover from Foo Fighters so check that out too.
For now, adios.

Ladies and gentlemen, we will be having our first official S4D gig on the 22nd of December. The event is called FULL FLIGHT 2007 and we will be performing on one of the pre-shows (since we're not that big yet).
Do tell us if you're coming cuz we would want to know how many fans we have among the crowd...that is if the crowd is large...
:)
Details are under the 'shows' tab.
