Press Release- Neicy- 'Holding On'

NEICY PRESS RELEASE

Trinidadian Singer/Songwriter, Model and Actress Nekisha ‘NEICY’ Cyrus, releases her 1st single of 2013 on the Bridal Rid dim- “Holding On’ written by Neicy, produced by Kerron Gomez (Project 21 studios), recorded at Nerukhi’s studios and mixed/mastered by Andrae Palmer of Remla Production (Jamaica). Originally written with the concept of the ‘Bridal Riddim’ in mind, this fusion of R&B and Dancehall track gives new meaning to the term ‘unconditional love’, the type of love that never lets you give up and makes it all worth it in the end. Too often in relationships persons are quick to let go because they aren’t willing to put in the work, while still expecting that fairytale ending. Love doesn’t work like that. A romantic sucker herself, Neicy stated states that love is patient and it takes work to build that strong foundation, but once you have it, it flourishes. The songwriter states that she is always reflecting on her personal experiences and those of persons close to her to channel life into her music. It helps to give meaning to her songs, while serving as self-therapy. In this life, love is constantly teaching us lessons, and you will continue to learn them until you understand them fully. She is confident that 2013 looks very successful for her as she embarks on her musical journey to becoming an international star and planting the flag of Trinidad high in that arena. With other releases on the way, such as “This Love”, “Tell me” and a special collaboration “That’s called Life”, this talented songstress, shows that there is no stopping her.
