Since the early 90's, Monkey Boy Records has been offering releases by some of Austin's most creative and diverse artists. Monkey Boy's journey began with 7" vinyl releases from Peglegusus, Tallboy, Myra Manes, and Big Horny Hustler and a full length LP from Chaindrive, moved into the digital age with full-length CD releases from Toof, The Tunahelpers, The Phantom Creeps and several compilations and continues today with CD, DVD and download offerings.
Monkey Boy Records is currently working with austin_network.com on series of live DVD releases recorded by Million Dollar Sound on 24 track digital equipment and filmed in HD. The first DVD, by Austin's Black Eyed Vermillion in available now. The second DVD by Matches For Memories will be out soon.
