Biography:

I’m off the opinion that music promotion sites should significantly reward those musicians who are proactive, there has to be an incentive to KEEP being proactive; if being proactive doesn’t give you some sort of edge what’s the point!

EVEN IF I #FAIL TO MAKE A MARK WITH MY #MUSIC....
I WANT SOME OF YOU TO #SUCCEED!

This isn't a management label--that description is misleading--it's a roster set up for promotion purposes, and primarily for the various projects designed to further the cause of artists, and with the hope of one day creating a production company on the back of the success of those projects. At that stage, it would be more realistic to talk in terms of management and label. If you want to join the roster and take part in the projects drop me a line and I will provide you with all of the information.

We're here to help those who help themselves by helping others; if that makes sense to you, and you think in those terms, you belong on the roster; if you don't you don't :)

If you want to make some use of being on the roster connect with the other artist on the roster on this site and on other sites, and connect with Pangaea's People pages on other music sites

I'm sure most of you already know that originally there was only one continent, but the movement of the tectonic plates caused the land masses to drift apart forming the continents we have today. Pangaea was the name of that super-continent.

Universal access to the internet means a virtual super-continent already exists, a place where musicians from all four corners of the Earth can collaborate without ever meeting. That's what the name Pangaea's People refers to; a virtual super-continent.

A very brief and basic description of what Pangaea's People is all about:

Most artists share the same problems. The music industry is pretty much a closed shop, and the advantages the internet appear to offer, namely, more exposure, are cancelled out by the quantity of music being posted; it's that "needle in a haystack" thing!

The basic idea behind the Pangaea's People thing is to create one big voice that has more chance of being heard. Something most of us eventually learn is that, regardless of how good our music might be, our chances of success are, to say the least, pretty slim, as there is no one out there offering genuine support (just a lot of gimmicks), and we are about as visible among the vast ocean of artists out there as plankton is in a literal ocean.

Finding time to promote our music is also a real problem, as it uses up time we would rather spend on the actual music. With that in mind, artists on the Pangaea roster can get involved as much or as little as they want in any possible cross-promotion opportunities. If you are one of those artists who is keen to get involved in cross-promotion at a pro-active level please let us know.

Regards,

Pangaea's People (EMERALD ISLAND ART)
