Suhgarim was formed near Venice, Italy, by Singer Trish Fleury & Guitarist Dave Anthony. They have released one EP & one full length CD. They are currently in Cryonic Suspended Animation somewhere between worlds. Their last single, Citizen of the World was produced by Rick Beato (Shinedown, Crossfade). Suhgarim has shared the stage with The Bullet Boys, Wednesday 13, Pop Evil, Trust Company, Sponge, Blessed by a Broken Heart, Hydrovibe, Ligion, Fixer, Know Lyfe, Joan Red, Black Ritual and hundreds of other bands. Suhgarim's sound has been called, "as original as their name, the love child of Queensryche, Megadeth and Heart, alt - ethereal modern metal and combining the sounds and style of Dio and Iron Maiden". Propelled by the electrifying stage presence of Trish Fleury and the guitar antics of Dave Anthony Suhgarim's shows are a return to the very roots of Rock N Roll and what concerts were meant to be! "I have to say the band's arrangements are as unique as their name. The music has that 80's nostalgia feel to it. I hear a little Iron Maiden, with a Ronnie James Dio twist to it. And yet, they have that progressive metal edge to it all. "Between Life and Death is a modern old school metal style album. Trish Fleury is a strong distinctive singer, and if you like Lauren Harris you'll like her. The riffs on this album are hard hitting and melodies are very catchy; "Loser" is a top song and will no doubt be an absolute killer onstage! "Between Life and Death" is a total surprise and Suhgarim are more than welcome in the over crowded genre of female fronted metal bands.

"This is one of those albums, that you find a new favorite track with each subsequent listen, for now, my favorite is the dramatic closer, "Portland". Just a great song with fittingly powerful lyrics. The vocals of Trish Fleury are powerful and go straight for the jugular, the guitar work by Dave Anthony and Charles Traweek is stellar as the riffs just keep on coming. Suhgarim add the best elements of classic bands such as AC/DC, Guns N' Roses with the technical precision and musicianship of latter day Queensryche and Megadeth. The songs have a decidedly metallic edge to them that really put, "Between Life And Death" over-the-top for me. 9 out of 10!"
