About Rev. Patrick Nyaga
I was born and raised in Africa. I graduated from a Teacher's Training College in 1987 with a degree in professional studies (teaching). At the end of 1988, the Lord through His Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "Son, know Me from my Word for I will use you internationally". Having grown up in the rural areas, it was difficult for me to comprehend those powerful words from the Lord. I walked to school from grade one through high school. I walked at least forty five minutes to an hour each way. In some of these rural areas, majority of the pastors still walk today for miles to their churches. After I heard those powerful words form the Lord, I developed a hunger for the Word of God that I did not have before. I continued to seek the Lord in prayer and fasting as I waited for direction. I served in my local church as a youth leader as well as traveling at various regions of Kenya preaching in churches and high schools.
In 1989, I was believing God for a wife and I remember asking the Lord to bless me with someone compatible with the calling. In June of 1990, I got introduced to Mikki Nyaga by a friend of mine who attended South Eastern College (now known as South Eastern University) here in United States. We got married in December of the same year after which I resigned from my teaching profession and joined her in the United States in March of 1991.
