In the spring of 2004 in College Station, Texas, Clairmont began their journey of creating music together. Early on Clairmont’s unique sound and truthful lyrics gained notoriety for the band. Their first recording was selected as the title track for Esotype records’ Compilation One: The Real Life Threats of You and Me. Following the compilation, Clairmont wrote and recorded their first album, The Dweller EP, in 2005. Despite various setbacks and struggles, the band persevered and released Strength Like Lions independently in 2008. The album utilizes a mixture of sounds on each track, ranging from swelling pads to raucous gang vocals. The album is a testament to the band’s dedication over the four years leading up to its release.
“But with so many bands, it's impossible to make every single show. So who should you see? ...Be sure to check out Clairmont, ...”
