He's graced the press through film i.e "ATLSuperstar" - Dir: Mad Marv" & "Urban Hype Live" - Dir: Britnee Tkeyah. He's been interviewed by "On Tha Real Magazine" - Intv: Karl Orts, www.ATLjunkie.com - Intv: Miya Bailey, & Entertainment Underground Magazine. He's released 14 street & internet promoted tapes as well as 11 of those during 2010 month to month. Guest DJ's included "DJ Traci Steele" [Hot 107.9FM & "Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta"] & DJ Cube [Slip-N-Slide DJ's - Underground Lab Production].
As he builds the buzz and anticipation for his first album, "Building Castles", he promotes the first single "BRAVO". Who inspired you to get in the game ?
I've had plenty of inspiration during my lifetime but my ORIGINAL inspiration came from the first "House Party" movie. When I saw Kid and Play rocking the mic infront of that party I knew that I was destined for the same (even though it was a movie).
What there too do in Gainesville, GA ?
Honestly, not much. We've got High School sports. The trap. Chicken plants. Plenty of parking lots to skate board in. A couple of studio's to drop rhyme's in. Asides from that, you better have imagination & a hobby

The one known as .dotGATSBY was born during the middle of a civil war in a small place by the name of Bogota, Colombia! Luckily I was adopted as a child and was blessed to be raised in the beautiful state of Georgia most of my life.

.dotGATSBY: I've been writing rhymes for more than 10 years, ever since I saw the first "House Party," and knew it was the way to get the ladies. Yet, as far as being a serious independent artist? 2004.

The SOW position goes to a rapper by the name of dotGATSBY. He's been making his rounds in the open mic circuit for a while and doing quite well. He got my attention with the mixtape "Five JOINTS Volume One" The name says enough; it includes five songs. Each one is distinct from the next and the entire compilation keeps you rockin and leaves you wanting more. My favorite joint has to be the first one which is titled "Ringtone Rapper". The lyrics on this project are on point and so is the production. I give the whole thing two thumbs up!
