Biography:

Rock & Roll has always been a story that sounded good when told with a Southern Accent. Wess Floyd’s story begins in the dusty peanut fields of South Alabama, goes thru the campus of Auburn University in East Alabama, to the better part of a decade in Music City, USA–Nashville, TN. It includes stops in legendary rock venues, dive bars, and gin soaked juke joints such as: The Nick (Birmingham,AL), The Bottleneck (Lawrence,KS), the Double Door (Charlotte,NC), and The Southgate House (Newport,KY). It is a story that features performing shows with Oscar Winners (Ryan Bingham), Rock Divas (Grace Potter), Young Bad Boys (Cage the Elephant), Atl-Country Legends (Blue Mountain) and Sweet Songbirds (Caitlin Rose). It’s the story of the open road, of best friends in search of the American Dream. It’s about a heart wrenching band break up when they seemed to be coming into their own. It’s about losing everything, finding out what’s important, and discovering the courage to continue down that thankless road.
