Her parents gave her a lute for a suprise birthday present! Since about 10 years ago she started playing and accompanying herself on Celtic and Renaissance music, her two loves. She has produced 5 cd's "Sleep My Child" A cd of Lullabies produced when she was a young mother! "Celtic and Beyond" her first Celtic/Renaissance CD only available digitally at Amazon/CD Baby/itunes. "Renaissance and Beyond" her first LIVE CONCERT CD available at CDBABY/Amazon/itunes and other sites. "The Singing Bird" All Celtic live concert CD, each song with a bird reference in it. And her latest coming out soon "A Renaissance of Love" - an eclectic mixture of love that's divine and human from European Renaissance, Celtic Lands, and her own spiritual new age music!

Press:

““Williams light, clear soprano turns gutsy in such Celtic ballads as "Star of the County Down," and ethereal in the sacred "The Lord is My Shepherd," waxes wistful as she takes on the persona of a Renaissance damsel in Johnson's "Have You Seen but a White Lily Grow" and subtly flirtatious in "Now Is the Month of May," a madrigal.” Janet Ghent Palo Alto Weekly April 2010 ”
Janet Ghent - Palo Alto Weekly

“You don't have to be an early music aficionado to enjoy her singing. Doris' voice is rich and buttery, with a dark quality rarely heard in sopranos. Doris kicks her performances along and brings out joy, hope, and wonder.”
John Kelley - San Francisco Club Newsletter, "The Folknik"
