Big Buji is a Hip Hop Producer who has been bangin out urban music since his early teens. Buji is considered to be the producers favorite producer. In 1995 Buji began his own music company; A-Camp Productions. Buji started his adventure into hip hop with his partner Baby U(Uno). Buji was the rapper/producer/DJ and Baby U was also a rapper/producer. They both made a big buzz around the Pitt County area. Baby U and Buji battled and freestyled on WZMB 91.3 and were undefeated all of '95 and '96. In '97, Buji was robbed for his equipment, by some of the guys he was producing. Some thought that this was the end of Buji and his music career. NOT SO!!! Buji stopped rapping and DJing to go behind the boards to produce full time. In late '98, Buji met some rappers from the Kinston area, Natural, Physical and Savion Saddam (C.P.K'S: JUS-ICE) He and his long time friend K.I. would go on to produce two of their cds, which are now eastern carolina classics: "SPUR OF THE MOMENT" AND "JUSTICE SERVED". Buji also produced tracks for them all as solo acts. In '99 Buji put out his own cds featuring his group, Varsity Squad. The Varsity Squad was made up of Greenville and Kinston rappers. They had two cds: "WE RULE EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA" and "COME SEE ME". Buji did most of the production of the cds along with help from Baby U. He also produced his cousin's, Ronnie Run, 1st CD "LYRICAL MASTA"; another local classic. Buji is one of the few local producers to have his songs played on radio every year since '95. Some of the local artists that he has produced are: P-Nice, J-2-G, Black Hitla, Sunshine, Bug-z, Baby U(UNO), Shaya, Atlas aka Lightz Out, Young Fresh, A.B.P., BRICE, THE D.O.N.S, Born True, Gemstone, Omega and the list goes on... Buji has done promos for Radio Personality such as D-TRAIN, KOOL K, AND THE LATE JAY FATE(R.I.P.).
“Big Buji is an urban producer from North Carolina, United States. His lifelong dream was to be an artist, to live his passion. When he was 13, he started rapping in small clubs, getting used to the crowd, to the visibility.
Nowadays Big Buji is a handyman when it comes to music. He's actively working on his own music, producing music for several artists, guiding and managing them, and he wants to pass on the experiences he himself has been through in the music business. On top of that, he has his own label, and radio show! Being more active in the music world than Big Buji, isn't even possible!”

““My whole goal,” Edwards said, “is there’s so much talent in Greenville, but so many people can’t see it. So somebody has to push the media out there.”
“A lot of artists don’t invest in themselves,” Edwards said. “You must go to a professional studio and get your professional recordings. You need to get your professional photo shoot. You need to have great-looking CD covers. You need to have your promo packet together and send it to WZMB and everywhere.”
