Katelyn was born in the late '80s and grew up outside of Baltimore, Maryland before moving to Chicago. Her voice is powerful and intense yet her songs are accessibly vulnerable. She has been described as raw and sugar-sweet in the same breath. And her genre-crossing cello work can be heard in classical, folk, and rock bands alike. The summer of 2011 saw her complete a 6 week national tour. In 2013 Katelyn released her first full length album, Weirds and Beards, and also completed a tour of the US and Canada. Besides all that, Katelyn likes knitting, crossword puzzles, Alpha King Pale Ale, and the internetz.
