For the group of South Shore punk rockers collectively known as WORM, social consciousness and a working class ethic are the order of the day.
Formed in 2003, the group came together to write music and have a good time, paying homage to the old-school punk rock sound of yore while infusing modern elements of metal and grunge.
The group worked toward perfecting their art in the basements and clubs of their hometown, culminating with the release of their first EP, “Piss on Authority”, recorded by Richard Marr at the legendary Galaxy Park Studios in Allston MA.
After a three year hiatus, the group reformed in 2008 to continue to spread their message and entertain audiences across New England. They are currently writing a new full-length album, and are available for bookings throughout the East Coast.
