Debbie Coney first arrived in Liverpool in the summer of 2002 having spent her formative years living in and experiencing a range of musical genres in both the North and South of Ireland. Now many years later, Debbie finds herself in the midst of a musical journey inspired by the many artists she has met along the way and in becoming a member of the Brazillian Samba Reggae band- Batala Liverpool. It was here she met Katie Crozier and decided that while one voice was sweet...two voices were 'Sweet Enuf!'
In her own words: " When I settled into Liverpool I suddenly found myself surrounded by a mass of musical talent. My love of music and writing, which for a long time had remained safely inside the 4 walls of my bedroom, finally emerged from the hidden cavern within my soul.
Writing and singing will always be a big part of who I am....so if I happen to write a song that someone likes and will listen to, well.... thats a bonus!!
If it happens to touch or inspire...well then my insides will dance (the outsides may dance later... but only if I've had a few!! ;-)
So here's to future singing/writing/playing and much dancing (inside and out!!). Thank you to everyone who has inspired me to get up and just do it!! you know who you are - much much loveage!!! xxx."
......So now you know!! Also Check out the Facebook music page for Sweet Enuf for band tracks not included on this page!
