“Los Angeles based all-girl band "Cherri Bomb" opened the show. Seeing how the band members are barely teenagers, it was interesting to see how the crowd reacted. Some people I spoke to before the show rolled their eyes when Cherri Bomb's name was brought up. And then the girls took the stage and shocked everyone. Jaws dropped, ears perked up and bodies began moving when the four-piece began playing. Young they might be, but entertainers they are. You could tell their hearts were in the music they were playing, and that being applauded by the Tulsa crowd meant the world to them. They deserved the recognition they received Friday night. They put on a heck of a show.”

“Made up of four teenage girls with a hard-rocking attitude, Cherri Bomb immediately jumped into an entertaining set that instantly commanded the audience’s attention. One observer compared the group to a modern day version of 1970’s band The Runaways. Their set included well performed covers of Cage the Elephant’s “In One Ear”, Foo Fighters’ “The Pretender” and Veruca Salt’s “Volcano Girls”. Cherri Bomb closed out their set with their new single “Spin” that drew loud applause from the crowd. They put on a great show, especially considering that most of the members are still in middle school.”
John Hall - Tulsa Today

“With so many bands overlapping each other, the difficulty was selecting which to cover, but the advertisements of Cherri Bomb on those Hollywood billboards decidedly peeked early interest. So it was first off to The Roxy Theater to watch them open for Filter. Cherri Bomb is a foursome of tween girls that label themselves, “Rock’s New Generation”. Read more...”

“CHERRI BOMB – While you may have spotted one of their three billboards high above the Hollywood gridlock, you may not know that this all-girl pop/rock sensation is comprised of members with an average age of only 13. Managed by superstar drummer Samantha Maloney (Hole, Mötley Crüe), the music industry is looking at this group of young ladies not as a novelty act, but as the next generation of rock n’ roll hit makers. The Roxy Theatre, Thursday, August 26, 8:30 p.m.”
