The latest in a long list of extremely talented Irish musicians, singer songwriter Lorraine Maher has a voice that can capture the spirit and lift the soul; a talent that is indeed unique and individual.

Lorraine became a household name in Ireland as a finalist on RTE TV's 'You're A Star' program, where she not only wowed the celebrity judging panel, but performed nightly to over half a million incredulous viewers.

Lauded far and wide for her breathtaking and heart-wrenching displays, Lorraine went on to perform alongside the very best in the business including The Saw Doctors, Aslan, Damien Dempsey and Mundy, in tandem with working with highly-regarded songwriters, John Spillane and Steve Wall.

Having grown accustomed to the spotlight's glare, Lorraine took her growing acclaim and boldly relocated to Los Angeles, where she has since made the Sunset Strip, and its myriad infamous venues including Hotel Cafe, The Key Club, The Cat Club, Room 5 and Genghis Cohen, her home away from home.

Furthermore, the 25 year-old songstress has scored the ultimate Hollywood goal with one of her songs featured on the forthcoming Rick Bieber movie, The Fifth Quarter, starring Aidan Quinn and Andie McDowell.

Lorraine's highly-anticipated new EP was released May 27th 2011. Die-hard fans can also hear Lorraine's inimitable vocals on the Mike Got Spiked song Stop Thinking, an album highlight from fellow Irish natives' recently-released album, Live & Acoustic.
