Once a upon a time...
A friend of Joakim worked together with Fredriks Girlfriend and he had retired from his former band after twelve years playing.
Joakim and Henrik was looking for a singer at the same time so Fredrik tried out and it clicked. After a few weeks they came
to the conclusion that the music felt right and the sound was awesome. The only thing’s missing was the bas. Still they recorded
their first 4 track demo at Popfabriken in Klippan. At the same time the name 8stone came to life and really had that rock n’ roll
sound to it. The hunt was on for a bas player that would complete the 8 in 8stone.They tried out Per-Ola from Halmstad and
together with him they recorded 8stone’s second and very expensive CD ” Resurrection ”. But it didn’t feel right so the hunt
was on again and after some terrible try-outs Andreas entered.the room and with his long hair and crazy laughter there was no
way the rest of the guys could let this talent walk out the door. After a few live shows they recorded the third Ep ”Lifewish” at
the Sensus studio together with the guitarist and drummer from Darkane. They also entered the local competition ”Popkorn”
down at the tivoli. But sadly never made it all the way to the final. All the good times often brings some bad ones and letting go
of Henrik was hard but had to be done. They dicided to try out Fredriks childhood friend from Höganäs, Johan, and this
biography walks with them through all the rock n’ roll nights and telling their story.
