Known for high energy shows, a fresh blend of tight hip-hop lyrics and his white hot ability to entertain, Reginald Williams, a.k.a Phenomm has captured audiences all along the Gulf Coast.With a catalog of 100+ songs,the New Orleans native is well respected among the who’s who of the songwriting community in the tri-state area.The sound created is clear, simple and intense, yet versatile enough for lyrical virtuosos who want to be wowed.A founding member of the 228 Union he was tagged Phenomm because of his rare ability to steal a show.He began to perform along side 6 other acts working the local circuit at every possible venue opening for mainstream acts.(T.I, Lil Wayne, and Jackson, Mississippi’s Own David Banner)While recording his debut project,a probation violation shelved his career.It was then he decided to take his music to another level.Released in Sept.2003 the “Gulf Coast representative” relocated to Jackson County becoming a partner of independent production company Po Livin Records.(Dontchawanna Po Live’ Da E.P 2005) Summer of 2006,Williams released the breakthrough single ‘Pop Dat” which generated critical acclaim and video production for the hit soon followed.Being a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast,the year 2010 brought a grand surprise with the New Orleans Saints influenced “Who Dat”, an ode to the Super Bowl XLIV champs.Needless to say it was a big hit with residents.Williams plans to add to his true to life resume with the release of his highly anticipated album ”Live From The Mississippi Sound”.The CD reflects his growth from a young man to a father with a decade of experience in the music profession.His music is a breath of fresh air from the usual “hardcore” songs most rappers are known for.
