Biography:

Building steadily since the 2009 release of their debut EP “When We Were Young”, West Michigan's Audrey is unceasingly making a name for themselves as one of Michigan's most presitigious acts. Kalamazoo Noise defines the group as “infectious, honest, & beautiful. . . gleaning all the positive aspects of the genre without venturing into territory where their work becomes plastic or artificial.” With their November 2010 release, the group has found a more developed and mature sound than their previously more pop leanings, largely in part to the member changes the band experienced since “When We Were Young”. The new line-up has made way for a recharged energy which translates into both their exhaustive work ethic, and fervent live show (which is oftentimes noted as being far more explosive than what one likely expects from a group in their genre). As Audrey continues to push themselves through an often jaded music scene and forge a fresh take on the genre, they are undoubtedly on their way to something bigger.

AVAILS : Currently seeking package/tour support for 2011 and beyond.

“Infectious, honest, & beautiful. . . Audrey toes the line of pop-rock, seemingly gleaning all the aspects of the genre without venturing into territory where their material becomes plastic or artificial.”
Kalamazoo Noise!

“On Audrey's latest EP, "The Flyaway," the Muskegon band serves up indie power-pop tracks reminiscent of Death Cab for Cutie. Music-wise, you'll find dreamy, pop-oriented textures and brightly chiming riffs.”
