Biography:

Prophecy born "Lamont Bond" on the south side of Chicago was influenced by many things throughout his life but the one thing that was one of the most constant and influential was music. As he made his way through High School he began rapping more and practicing with friends and recording songs on cassette tapes in his friend's basement. When his senior year began, there was a buzz around the school that he should explore his talents seriously and so he began to hone his lyrical ability and practice his craft to develop as an artist. This continued into College where he met other talented artists and producers and began recording with them putting out mix-tapes and posting music on internet outlets such as imeem, reverbnation, myspace, youtube, datpiff.com and soundclick. His style, which cannot be simply described, is a mix of all genres rap, hip-hop, R&B, and a little bit of new rock & roll flavor. At the age of 25 Prophecy has released a mix-tape series titled "The Pif Experiment Vols.1-5" and also another series titled "Free To Be Me Vol.1" that he sells locally and promotes on online sites all over the net. He already has his debut album Prophecy Untold out on website outlets and local markets. He is currently working on an album project named "Prophecy Unplugged" which will be a double discography to show his diverse ability lyrically and style wise.Determination is the driving force behind Prophecy and his music and eventually not only the industry but the world will take notice to his passion and talents. He is currently signed and C.E.O of Black Matrix Entertainment an Independent record label. Prophecy is the featured artist of this company and created this company because not only does he have a great feel for music but he also possesses great business savvy.To sum everything up when it is all set and done this artist will go down as one of the best to do it.
