Biography:

It’s only a subtle change in words but I always saw Blue Juice as a band that just happened to play at functions as opposed to just a function band. After all, it was the only way to finance promotion, advertising, concerts, audio recordings, filming, music and the equipment...lots of equipment.

I’ve given up correcting people verbally (or mentally to myself) as if they are unable to appreciate the difference in the meaning behind the words, odds are they don’t appreciate the work that’s gone into what they are hearing on stage from some of the best real live people in the business.

With not enough public dates as an option I just decided to treat private and corporate events as I would a concert. What this means is that there is absolutely no ‘function bland’ there’s enough people out there doing that.

Past private and corporate clients have included many a gorgeous girl on her wedding day, Steven Gerrard, Ole Gunner Solskjaer, Universal Music Distribution, Proctor & Gamble, Clarks, Lloyds TSB, Barclays, Hays, NHS, Dunhelm Mill, Lyreco, Arvato Bertlesmann, Manchester United, The Manchester Ball.

The upshot of the past 5 or 6 years is that I’ll accept that Blue Juice is Function Band Deluxe. If you want something extra special and someone to try to surpass your expectations please get in touch. If you can’t appreciate the difference then click on by to the mass mediocrity.
