“originally from whitefish Saskatchewan, blu was brought up through hard times on the reservation but has overcome addictions and shares some of his past stories in his music. Blu has always had a passion for music and explains it as therapy. He has been writing lyrics since age 16, and making beats since 18. Blu began to collaborate with other local artists in saskatchewan which started to build as a team and decided to call it Rez Inc. They have been doin shows together since 2009 from rez 2 rez almost all over canada. Blu has adapted through many rap/ hiphop scenes and now remains as a heatbag records artist/ producer residing in Winnipeg Manitoba.
