Biography:

California native Hope Horner has been writing music for over twenty years and released her second album of original music entitled "Vacancy" in November of 2011. Her first first album of original music, Shadow of Me, was released in October of 2009. She is currently working on the her third album and will be releasing "rough cuts" of various tracks throughout 2018-2019. She writes all the music and lyrics for her songs and plays guitar. While her music spans a variety of genres including folk, rock, and country, each song features direct, cut-to-the-truth lyrics, and her unique, melancholy alto voice. Between the catchy melodic riffs and the lyrics about topics everyone can relate to, Hope's songs might touch a nerve, or pull at your heart, but all are sure to get stuck in your head. Hope is an avid song-writer, describing it as her "passion." She is currently releasing "rough cuts" of her most current songs on Facebook including one entitled "Ink Dark Sea" which mourns the loss of her friend and album producer, Andy Scott of FreakFlag Records. Press:

“The thirteen songs on the album are recorded live in the studio once again with Andy Scott behind the buttons as producer/multi-instrumentalist and Trevor S. on the violin. The album is more polished and balanced than her first work. With bated breath I listed to the album which featured Horner's measured vocals as deep and warm as the best mahogany. The album "Vacancy" is like bathing in a delicious herbal bath. It is an extremely beautiful folk rock album that you "undergo" - it touches you. Songs with a subtle hypnotic bass loop (Fool), sublime guitar (Pin The Tail) or a moody violin (Devil's hand), ensured a widespread smile on my face. "Vacancy" is an album with an almost intoxicating effect that exceeds her already good debut album on all fronts. ”

"Horner has a beautiful & pure voice...A fresh sound in the immense pond of American singer-songwriters."
