Biography:

Sins of the Father was formed in 2008 by Johnnie Moore, Will Anderson, and Casey Powell. After trying out several bassists, they settled on Larry Sandoval, whom Casey and Johnnie had played with in previous bands. After playing a few shows in fall 2008 they parted ways with Casey. Needing a new vocalist, Larry got in touch with John Hunt, who he had been in several bands with. Giving him only two weeks to write new vocals for a show they had booked, John quickly and brutally fit into the mix. That winter, they recorded their debut EP "Return of the Nephilim". They continued to consistently play shows around Nebraska and Colorado, taking on a mentality of "Any show, anywhere, anytime". In December of 2009 Larry left the band to join the band Leave None Alive. Off the recommendation of a friend, Pat Henry was recruited for a replacement. They played a handful of shows over the next year, but stayed mostly low-key. In January 2011 Larry rejoined Sins of the Father and they got to work writing new songs, and releasing a 2-song single for songs "Touch of Black" and "Bludgeon Rape". They had been recorded shortly before Larry's departure, but never saw an organized release. Heading into the future, Sins is looking to regain that "Any show" mentality, while also looking towards the release of their first full-length.
